Electronic news gathering activities using helicopters are essential tools for the mass media. NAKANIHON AIR operates 11 TV helicopters under an exclusive contracts with various media outlets throughout Japan. In addition, our helicopters are equipped with cutting edge cameras providing our clients with access to aerial video and still photography in support of TV programming, commercials production, film making and data imagery.
NAKANIHON AIR is contracted to operate and maintain anti-disaster helicopters for MLIT(Ministry of Land，Infrastructure and Transport), as well as firefighting / disaster prevention helicopters for local governments. In disaster situations we play an important role by relaying damage assessment information and necessary data for rescue activities. We have been involved in various rescue missions such as mountain and water rescue operations, aerial firefighting and EMS.
Doctor-Helis are EMS Helicopters which enable doctors and nurses to fly to emergency sites quickly．These medical helicopters are helping to improve the lifesaving rate of emergency care while reducing the aftereffects of trauma．Because of these specially fitted helicopters, doctors are able to perform emergency treatment as first responders，and to continue treatment while the helicopter is transporting the patient to a medical facility.
Nakanihon led the development of Air Ambulance over 30 years ago, and is now the largest Doctor-Heli operator in Japan today.
